The Eggplants are an enemy encountered only in one room in game within The Guy's Fortress, specifically in the room with Master Higgin's portrait, which can only be accessed by re-entering the room with Ryu Hayabusa's portrait from under the bridge at The Front Door of The Guy and riding the platform hidden therein. Their humorous location is a reference to Adventure Island, where eggplants are an enemy that lowers your vitality meter by 2.These obstacles bounce about up and down on the spot continuously and will kill The Kid if touched. The room they're encountered also contains one of the game's Secret Items.
